1975 Norton Commando RoadsterMKIII

the bike is in great condition. as with all British bikes the gaskets drool slightly but there are no "leaks" anywhere on the bike. I park it on a clean garage floor and it remains that way. In some of the photos you may see some oil on the rear tire and rim which was thrown off the chain which I like to keep fed with chain lube. It has the 23 tooth countershaft sprocket which keeps the revs down and works much like overdrive. I shift into 4th around 60 MPH and use 3rd if I'm tooling the back roads under 55. IT WILL DO WHAT YOU TELL IT TO AND HAS NO TROUBLE KEEPING UP WITH NEWER BIKES. This bike is so smooth due to the Isolastic motor mounts that the purr of that stocky low toned engine note is not interrupted by any vibration to take your mind off the experience. I have treated it with the finest lubricants filters new fork seals and fluid. The inside of the tank is unrusted and clean. This is not a resurected bike with Taiwan parts or bits from other year models. THIS BIKE IS AN ORIGINAL SURVIVOR.
