Electrical Technician Job in Lexington, KY

Our client, an automotive manufacturer, just east of Lexington, KY is seeking Electrical Technicians for their 2nd shift operation. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the installation and maintenance of machinery with PLC’s, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics. Working knowledge of PLC’s is required (Fanuc Controls preferred). Robot background a plus. Applicants must be capable of reading and wiring electrical schematics and be knowledgeable in wiring 480 volt circuits of motors and controls. Two years minimum technical/vocational training or equivalent is highly preferred, in addition to 1-2 years electrical background. Working knowledge of metal stamping, CNC machine centers, and any other high-speed assembly equipment a plus. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment. Strong organizational ability and planning skills are also needed to successfully fill this position.
